"Elbit still appear to be above the law. It is not enough to beat them in court, there needs to be accountability."
There does need to be accountability on Elbit's part, but we all know how likely that is coming anytime soon. Revelations in the E. files show how little those in power and their billionaire backers give a damn about ordinary folks who want to live in peace and stop a genocide from happening with their tax dollars. It will be up to the "Court of Public Opinion" to crush Elbit and their kind eventually.
Thank you, Ricky Hale, from Council Estate Media, for staying on top what has been happening to the Filton 24 in the UK throughout their illegitimate incarceration by the British Government and for reporting thoroughly on their recent acquittal of all the major charges against them.
Thank you Mr. Hale, this is encouraging to hear they have been acquitted of the most serious charges. Here's hoping the retrials fail as well, it is good to know that the court upheld justice, and shameful to see the continued doubling down of the current administration to demonize the Filton 24 and justify what has happened to them
with Labour. Only Juries can provide integrity and a sense of justice not skewed to protecting Israel's criminal activities, needs and image. Juries must be protected.
These people are not above destroying CCTV footage. How long before they start presenting AI doctored footage to "prove" their narrative. Strange how "High tech" cameras always seem to be "out of service" or "offline" when certain events occur.
Well said Mr. Lynch. It is telling that the arms manufacturer was allowed to perform the initial footage download and possess said footage for 2 days prior to the actual police investigation
Interesting analysis by Craig Murray on the trial the judges and the states aim to appeal. That alot of room has been left for the state to win on appeal. No one has been released and many of the charges still stand. Not necessarily life sentence charges but nonetheless. Not to mention no accountability as you mentioned on the obvious evidence tampering by Elbiet. The state has simply doubled down without a single rethink regret or apology.
Not quite a victory. From the linked article: "The defendants, who have not yet been tried on all counts, now face retrials on charges where the jury failed to reach verdicts.
These include criminal damage, violent disorder, and in one case, grievous bodily harm with intent against a police officer. Prosecutors confirmed that they will seek retrials on these charges, which could be altered to lesser offences."
That GBH charge is the main one that the Zionist media is using to stigmatise the defendants, as if they were all accused jointly. Because a police officer was injured (very slightly, although that is rarely mentioned) and even more so because she is female (and all women are weak, fragile and pathetic, apparently), that charge makes Palestine Action evil, while genocide against men, women and children is trivial.
Well, they are certainly celebrating the acquittals as a huge victory, given that life sentences are off the table for all but one. Although, as the article states, the fight is not over yet. Three face retrials on violent disorder and all of the Filton 6 face retrials on criminal damage, but the punishments are much less severe. If convicted on those lesser charges, they're probably looking at about 1-4 years for criminal damage and 2-5 years for violent disorder. For aggravated burglary, they could have been looking at life. As it stands, only the person facing retrial for GBH could get a life sentence, however, typical punishments for such crimes are about 4-10 years depending on circumstances. It's worth bearing in mind they have already spent time in prison which would be counted towards any jail sentence. For some that would be over 18 months.
I wouldn't assume normal sentencing guidelines would apply in this case. From the start, the government has been trying to use these prosecutions to make an example of the activists. Hell, I wouldn't even rule it some novel sophistry that sets aside the jury verdicts. Whenever "national security" gets thrown into the discussion, the normal rules don't apply.

Now we have to take the Devil IsRael, the Antichrist to court for crimes against humanity.
Israel calls all the shots

Excellent article. Thanks for keeping us up with stories mainstream media choose to ignore.
No words!
You probably heard that the Brooklyn Navy Yard is no longer working with Elbit. A victory for BDS!
Great news!

The government, police and Elbit will continue to destroy evidence and individual freedoms until it gets undeniably caught in the act.

Thank you so much. Information is indeed sparse in the msm
