There are two issues here. One is 'where is the line been opinion and misinformation? '. The other is 'is Europe at war with Russia? '. In both cases the answers are nuanced, or they should be. The narrative over Russia and Ukraine sounds more like misinformation than opinion. And misinformation in this age is a very powerful weapon. Misinformation is the main driver of the far right in Europe and the UK. It's not trivial. Misinformation got Trump elected. Misinformation is what helped Reform UK succeed.
Is Europe at war with Russia? Pretty much yes. No missiles, but the hybrid war is definitely here. They are sniffing round our underwater comms and power cables, some have already been severed. Power supply has been interfered with. Bribes are being passed to politicians. A senior Reform UK MEP was recently jailed for taking Russian bribes to influence the European Parliament.
Free speech is not a limitless right. It's not a right to intentionally mislead politicians and citizens.
However the Albaneze case is different. That appears to be an attack on the right to hold an opinion. The USA is not at war with Israel, obviously, neither is it currently at war with Palestine.
