You can expect typically about 10 to 15 newsletters per month.

Payment to our newsletters is and always will be entirely optional. The only paywalled content on Council Estate Media are articles that are automatically archived two weeks after publication.

Council Estate Media was initially a Blogger website focusing primarily on working class issues from a UK perspective. Although it sometimes covered foreign policy and geopolitics, it was never the main focus. However, this changed with the Gaza genocide.

We made an ethical decision to make the Gaza genocide the central focus of the newsletter until it was over. Doing anything else would have felt wrong.

The problem is the people who read the newsletter for the domestic stuff and the party politics were not necessarily the same people who read for the foreign policy and geopolitics. With this in mind, we have set up two separate newsletters, Anti-imperialist Nexus and Dystopian Times.

Anti-imperialist Nexus is where we cover what is happening in China, Russia, and the Middle East. Dystopian Times is where we will focus mostly on domestic issues. Socialist Voices is our podcast where you can listen to readings of our articles. You are free to subscribe to both newsletters or whichever one you prefer. These newsletters are payment optional to ensure no one is excluded.
