If Mohammad Mossadegh’s children are alive, they have more legitimacy of replacing the Ayatollah than the son of the U.S. and UK puppet who was put in place by the coup.

I wish there were some way to teach ignorant Americans -- MAGAts, Trumpistas, but even a fair number of so-called "liberals" -- the tragic history of the CIA coup and the Shah's brutal regime, installed not in the interest of "democracy," but rather to support the oil industry. Anyone aware of the coup and its consequences would understand why the Iranians expressed so much hostility toward Americans after the Islamic Revolution (1979). Somehow, most Americans believe they are the victims of unprovoked hostility...

"This shows you can't trust Israel with a ceasefire any more than you can trust Trump with babysitting duty."

Well said! (But it leaves a very disturbing image in your brain that you can't shake.)

Good piece, Ricky.

For anyone interested or who has not seen it, I post a link to the documentary narrated by Orson Welles on the nauseating extravagance of the Shah's party in 1971: this is while ordinary Iranians were living in penury. The Shah is the father of the entitled buffoon you feature above:

This is the irony of impunity, thinking you can bomb someone into democracy.

It's rather interesting that both Khomeni and more recently Khameni issued binding religious rulings that Iran should not develop an atomic bomb as being contrary to Quranic teaching on the killing of civilians in war. A Nuke can only be developed and deployed if such a ruling is rescinded.

Useful material for a Christian

Zionist Sunday sermon.

One theory about the Chinese cargo planes I thought made a lot of sense is that they picked up nuclear equipment they wanted to keep safe. Not delivering weapons.

It seems that Iran has halted firing, no official ceasefire, but will restart if Israel does. Iran has humiliated Bibi, got rid of of IAEA and shown Israelis what it's like to be bombed by a peer.

Israel wanted an end to this. Trump pretends it was all him. It was all Iran.

The US wants war with Iran, now Israel doesn't! The boots on the foot it's always has been on!

People are leaving Israel and even Bibi wanted a ceasefire.
