The sheer stupidity of the NATO powers in destroying Libya is staggering, Gaddafi had twice warned the West that Libya was the bulwark which stood between a Muslim invasion and Europe, how right he was. I think also that Gaddafi's gold reserves and pan-African currency and their usage irked the elite enough for them to seek to eliminate him. It was wrong that he committed injustices against his people, but he also sought to build up his nation, make Libya a stronger nation economically and create a pan-African currency, these are things which are commendable, in my view. And what right did any of the other nations have to eliminate him? Libya has suffered considerably since then.
