Israel does not want to negotiate with Iran, and they don’t want to give America the opportunity to even try and seek negotiations. They want and need the Iranian government to topple completely so that the “Greater Israel” Lebensraum project can proceed unimpeded, so they intend to turn this into a battle to the death.
I think they will find, however, that this could come back to bite them in the future. As US hegemony in the Middle East, and the wider world, is heavily damaged by this war, the US will find itself unable to continue sustaining a military presence in its subjects, and will likely end up largely scaling back such efforts, either willingly or by force as the countries America has previously dominate quickly turn against them.
All to say that this cannot end well for anyone involved.

To add to the unfolding nightmare, according to Scott Ritter, because the US just bombed Iran's offshore gas field, Iran is now going to take out all of the regions oil, gas facilities.
Which is going to usher in a world economic nightmare of epic proportions. Are we in WW3, but this time around it's an energy war, not the usual blood and guts atrocity?

If they are still "long" on crude, it is in THEIR interests to keep the Straits of Hormuz blocked, so the war will continue and to Hell with the rest of us. If they have cashed out and suddenly gone "short," they will want the price of crude to go down.
Some insist that the stock market and, more pointedly, Polymarket, are similarly manipulated. A great deal of evidence suggests that they are. Thus, to gain some idea as to Trump's "strategy" (yeah, right!), perhaps we should first check positions on the various markets that will be affected by his decisions.

It's not just up to the Epsteiners or Trump to end the war. Iran has half the say. Unconditional surrender may apply to the US and Israel.
