The Trump administration is hailing its latest Iran disaster as a roaring success, but the official story has more holes than a low-budget Hollywood movie, suggesting there is more going on than meets the eye.
Everything - including yours - is speculation. We must be careful not to be melded to any one hypothesis. One could just as easily say that a UFO crash landed there and the US wanted to get to the pieces first.
What we lived through yesterday and today is something words can barely carry… but I will try😔
Since yesterday, the sky has not been quiet for a single moment. Violent artillery shelling surrounded us, and military vehicles advanced from every direction. Fear was everywhere—thick, suffocating. We pulled Hala and Kareem into our arms, holding them so tightly, trying to hide the terror in our hearts so it wouldn’t reach their innocent souls. We pretended to be strong… but inside, we were breaking.
We managed to drift into a fragile sleep, only to wake up to sounds even louder, more brutal—explosions that shook not just the ground beneath us, but something deep inside us. In those moments, it truly felt like the end was near. After that, sleep was no longer possible. Only waiting.. fear… and silent prayers.
After Al fajer prayer, the sounds softened for a while. We prayed, clinging to whatever peace we could find, and finally rested after a night that felt endless. But fear never really left us… and neither did the pain.
Today, I went out to bring drinking water, taking Hala with me, hoping a small walk might ease the fear inside her after what she had seen. Dalia and Kareem stayed at home. We hadn’t gone far when suddenly everything collapsed into chaos—gunfire erupted from every direction. The world turned into noise, panic, and confusion.
I stood there, frozen between two unbearable fears…
A terrified child in my arms, shaking, crying, looking to me for safety… and my heart left behind at home with Dalia and Kareem. I didn’t know what was happening to them. I didn’t know if they were safe, or if the militia had already reached them.
They were so close… surrounding civilians, forcing families out of their homes. People were running into the streets, escaping death by miracles. The scene was beyond tragic—gunfire, wounded people bleeding, martyrs lying where they fell, and ambulances unable to reach them. The air itself felt heavy with fear and loss.
In that moment, nothing mattered except one thing: my family.
I tried to go back home through fear, through danger, through streets that no longer felt like streets. Every step felt like it could be the last. Hala was crying in my arms, and I was trying to calm her while my heart was breaking into pieces.
When I finally reached home… after what felt like a lifetime…
I found them. Alive. Hiding in a small safe place.
I cannot describe that moment. I couldn’t believe my eyes. My family was still here. Breathing. Together.😔
But something inside us has changed forever.
Since then, Hala hasn’t stopped crying. Her small body couldn’t to bear what she saw and heard—her fever rising, her eyes filled with fear no child should ever know. What did our children do to deserve this? What crime did they commit to live through such horror?
How can a child’s mind understand the sight of torn bodies, the sound of bullets, the smell of death?
How will they grow… in a place where childhood is buried under rubble?
To our dear friends…
Thank you is not enough. Your presence, your prayers, your words—they hold us together when we feel like falling apart.
Please… don’t let our story disappear.❤️🩹
Share it. Speak about it. Let the world see. Let them know.
Expose these crimes.
Because behind every number… there is a child like Hala.
A family like ours.
A heart that is breaking… in silence.

No child or adult should have to live through ten minutes of that, much less more than two years. I can't imagine the trauma those children will carry forever if they survive. They're already broken. There is no God in this world, no meaning, and no reason. None.
Or maybe he was neither killed nor rescued - maybe he was captured, in which case the Iranians will be asking him some very interesting questions about his mission...
While I presume it was 0% useful & 100% costly, I have no insight into this specific failure. All I have is my certainty that Trump is not on America's side, and never has been.
While I do believe he's genuinely incompetent, I don't believe the pratfall of the Anglo-American Empire is an accident.
Especially when he made sure to strip the US of all competent oversight, first. Especially when he made sure to alienate every US ally, first. Especially, when he ROBBED the US, so thoroughly, before he pushed it off the cliff.
I still think Herr Drumpf intends to retire to Argentina, with the other Nazis, to laugh at Britain's ultimate downfall.
Do a little digging on the London bankers - Trump is not associated with them. Burning Bright here on SS has interesting ideas. But as with everything - they are all just opinions.
I trust exactly nothing spewing Trumpian lips. I want to know how many US personnel were killed in whatever this entire "mission" was about. Whatever - it is a serious humiliation for Trump!
If all those planes were destroyed, where are all the special forces soldiers now? Who got them out? Were they all killed? The whole thing is completely unbelievable!
omg thank you. I immediately thought it was unbelievable that he hid himself so well for two days and climbed 7000 feet while badly injured. Frankly I was shocked Trump would pay for a rescue mission when he doesn’t GAF about dead soldiers. The media is taking everything at face value and investigating nothing.
We left two C-130s on the ground in Iran. What were they carrying? They can carry 92 troops, or supplies. Did we lose all the supplies? Did we lose 184 troops?
MH6 Little Bird helicopters carry a pilot, co-pilot, and 6 passengers. If four were destroyed, where are their crew?
I think your hypothesis is a lot more likely than the search and rescue mission. Looks like this idiotic landing in the midst of an enemy who can see our every move, was made up by people who watch too many Mission Impossible movies. Did they think the writers were on their side?
This disaster would explain Trump's melt-down and collapse.
I was saying the same thing!! Why did they need 2 cargo planes that I read can carry 126 troops and 92 paratroopers (more equipment). So...why did those need to come along for the rescue of 1 guy up on a mountain??
The US Military Budget is the easiest budget to rob. Don't expect that money to get to where the Trump regime claims it's going. It will — in very large part — find its way into Trump's pockets.
We had gas lines/rationing in the 1970's. I had just gotten my license and could only buy gas on Wednesdays as it was alphabetical. I was a teenager who drove all weekend and barely made it. I thought "wow, this style of adulthood sucks". Additionally, my Mom and Dad lived through the Great Depression, wherein they had to have government coupons for meat, eggs, etc. also only able to shop at certain times. They had regular "blackouts" to save on energy supplies as well.
I too thought it was an excessive use of resources
They must hold onto that Uranium to build their own deterrent.

Totally plausible
Yup

New movie idea.
Rough title; ‘Not Bother Saving Private Barron”

100%. Lazy journalism. Tis the future in work ethics.
Excellent article and got me thinking...

Also, those C-130s are designed for takeoff and landing on rough terrain. So, getting stuck in the mud / sand seems implausible (especially two).

Yes, and the 2 cargo planes were just the ones we left there. How many did they actually bring?
new link-even more info!!

At this point, if I was forced to choose at gunpoint; I believe Iran 🇮🇷 more than dump and co.
ditto
Wouldn't be at all surprised if this was the truth. Very clear that he tells lies and if the military personnel were fired then who knows.
Seems to want to allow more money into military than look after the health of the American people.

They are actively working against our health and well-being. Wait until the food shortages and gas rationing.
I sincerely hope not as that would prove they have no empathy for the people.
