Check out the language. When Israel plants explosive devices in domestic homes, on foreign soil, with intent to cause terror in support of a political aim - it is not called 'terrorism ' it is called an 'audacious act'. Or 'a pre-emptive strike'.
Palestinians fighting to defend their homes are called 'insurgents'. The invaders fire bombing their hospitals and sniping their kids are called 'security forces'.

What it boils down to is depressingly simple. The West whitewashes Israeli atrocities because Israel is part of the geopolitical plan. Israel existence is convenient to the West. Palestine, and the Palestinian people, by their very existence, are inconvenient to the West.
