Most of us are people who have to go for hospital treatment on occasions - none of us are wealthy, or have transport at our beck and call. We are spitting blood over Israeli genocide in Gaza, and its spread elsewhere, and doing our best to avoid any possible financial contact with the country. Streeting has a lot to answer for too.
The NHS is free at "point of use" and as such there is no question of patients having to pay for an essential pice of medical equipment to aid their condition. To deny a patient the use of such an item is I suggest a form of medical negligence.
Given that this hospital has implemented a practice not based on medical need but of financial gain then obviously the people who implement charges should be held criminally responsable if any patients medical condition is affected by denial of a medical aid.
